As partners, Virus and Yuri deal with the malignant programs plaguing Tokyo. While Yoh and Yuki take their exams however, the two are left without back up. Another Virus Hunter group is temporarily assigned to Tokyo, amongst the members, the elite program - Gabriel.

As strange dreams disturb Yuri's nights, Virus past slowly reveals itself. What if the truth is something they don't want?

Background

In the future, the world is plagued by viruses and other malignant programs. To deal with these threats, born of the new VR-Matrix system, humans and programs are partnered to become Virus Hunters. The children of a new era battle to protect their future.
